In a context where practices involving animals and/or nature are multiplying, the University Certificate in Animal Mediation and Relations with Nature meets a need for multidisciplinary training combining theory and practice. It is aimed primarily at professionals in the field of teaching, assistance and care, who wish to introduce animals and/or nature into their practice, as well as those interested in relationships with nature and animals.

The aim of the Certificate in Animal Mediation and Relations with Nature is not to train therapists, but to equip practitioners with the theoretical, practical and experiential skills they need to design, evaluate and analyze work with animals and/or nature in a given professional context, while respecting both the beneficiaries and the animals.

The originality of the course lies in its desire to combine theoretical understanding with personal experience as far as possible. It also offers participants an original conception of mediation, an openness to relationships with nature, and a reflection on the notions of benevolence, device and creativity. These various elements are conceived as necessary for integrating animals as partners in a context of assistance, care, learning or animation.
